We are seeking a talented Manufacturing Development Engineer II to join our dynamic team and contribute to shaping the future of our manufacturing capabilities. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will play a crucial role in creating, maintaining, and enhancing our manufacturing processes, standards, and systems.

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Development Engineer II, you will be at the forefront of new product development and deployment, working closely with teams to design and implement cutting-edge manufacturing solutions. Your expertise will directly impact product quality and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with Mechanical Engineering, Product Management, Drafting, Tooling Design, Compliance, Quality, and Production teams to develop efficient products.
  • Optimize manufacturing processes, tooling, and documentation to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Provide technical guidance and support across departments, integrating new technologies and methodologies into our manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure product quality meets stringent standards and work with Quality teams to address any issues.
  • Develop functional prototypes and samples for customer approval and product testing.
  • Perform cost engineering functions, including estimating, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Conduct time studies to optimize production processes.
  • Support the Product Lifecycle Engineering team with configurable fast tracks, change management, and low-volume production.

What We're Looking For:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role.
  • Strong expertise in mechanical and electromechanical systems/assemblies design.
  • Experience in product evaluation and manufacturing process optimization.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and team-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000 depending on location and experience.
