The role involves maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of medical facilities through various cleaning tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and other decorative elements.
- Cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and locker rooms.
- Sweeping and vacuuming floors.
- Dusting furniture and equipment.
- Polishing metal surfaces.
- Washing walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
- Cleaning windows, door panels, and sills.
- Emptying waste receptacles.
- Transporting waste to disposal areas.
- Restocking bathroom supplies.
- Moving small equipment or tools between departments.
- Experience in janitorial services is preferred.
- Background in medical cleaning is advantageous.
- Post-offer medical examination, background check, and drug screening are required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
The physical demands of this position include standing, walking, and using hands for various tasks.
Employees must be able to climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed and should be capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
Vision requirements include close, distance, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception.
Exposure to cleaning chemicals may require the use of protective clothing or equipment.
Work Environment:
Employees may encounter fumes or airborne particles and will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. The noise level is typically quiet.
