Core Responsibilities:

  • Manage and enhance the organization's quality management system and operational procedures
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and AS9100 standards
  • Lead quality enhancement initiatives utilizing advanced methodologies such as FMEA, Control Plans, Gage R&R Studies, CAPA, SPC, and Root Cause Analysis
  • Conduct ISO audits (both surveillance and re-certification) to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Monitor and document compliance of materials and components, addressing any discrepancies swiftly
  • Comprehend and oversee all aspects of manufacturing operations including receiving, material handling, production, packaging, and distribution
  • Promote continuous improvement through data analysis, project management, and thorough documentation of processes
  • Prepare and deliver management reports and quality performance indicators
  • Facilitate quality training sessions and lead problem-solving teams
  • Provide consultation on quality tools, software, and systems
  • Ensure timely documentation of nonconforming products and communicate issues effectively for resolution

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering roles associated with industrial, production, reliability, or design
  • 3-5 years of experience within the aerospace manufacturing domain
  • Expertise in advanced quality tools and methodologies
  • Thorough understanding of AS9100 standards, ISO requirements, and quality management systems
  • Demonstrated success in leading ISO audit processes and ensuring quality compliance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with sound judgment in technical matters
