Position Overview:
The Surgical and Procedural Coordinator plays a crucial role within specialty clinics and procedural environments. This position is responsible for the seamless coordination of activities, documentation, and information transfer associated with scheduling and preparing patients for in-office consultations, surgical interventions, and related diagnostic testing.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the requirements of patients, healthcare providers, facilities, and insurance payors to ensure all needs are met effectively.
- Manage office schedules and serve as a communication bridge between various offices, departments, external resources, and individuals to facilitate optimal preparation arrangements.

Minimum Education Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- An Associate's Degree is preferred.

Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a medical office setting is essential.
- Prior experience with direct clinical patient interaction in roles such as LNA, MA, EMT, or similar fields is advantageous.

Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of medical terminology is required.
- Proficient in advanced computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients from diverse socio-economic backgrounds.
- Familiarity with CPT/ICD9/ICD 10 coding is desirable.

Compensation:
- Competitive pay starting at $25.15 per hour.
