Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automobile Liability Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our claims department, you will be responsible for managing within company best practices Commercial Auto PD and BI Claims and General Liability Claims.

Your primary duties will include receiving new claims, confirming coverage, and meeting 24-hour contact requirements. You will also render liability determinations, investigate claims, establish timely reserves, and authorize payments within authority limits.

You will communicate claim status with clients, excess carriers, and defense counsel as applicable. Additionally, you will adhere to client and carrier guidelines, participate in claims reviews, and prepare for file reviews.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Commercial Auto PD and BI Claims and General Liability Claims within company best practices.
  • Receive new claims, confirm coverage, and meet 24-hour contact requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. We require a Home State Adjuster's License, with multi-state licensure preferred. Additionally, you should have at least two years of experience handling Commercial Auto Claims, with Fast Track Claims experience and Garagekeepers Liability experience highly preferred.
