Ambulatory Care Services LPN Role

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Ambulatory Care Services team at the University of Michigan Health System. As an LPN, you will play a critical role in supporting lab tracking, injections, procedures, patient care, form completion, clinic and infusion preparation, and delegated patient calls.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic/ambulatory care setting. They will be responsible for interpreting diagnostic test instructions, assisting with procedures, and obtaining diagnostic results from our clinical information system. Additionally, they will manage prescription renewals and authorizations with delegation protocols.
Required Qualifications:
- Graduation from an accredited School of Practical Nursing
- Current LPN licensure to practice nursing in Michigan
- Three (3) years or more of experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinic/ambulatory care setting
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in an ambulatory care clinic setting
- Experience with an electronic medical record
- Proficiency with computer skills, to include keyboarding
- Experience in working with a heme/onc patient population
Work Schedule:
This position requires a 20-hour per week commitment, with day shift hours from Monday to Friday evenings and rotating Saturdays as needed. The location is the Rogel Cancer Center, Maize Team, Ann Arbor campus.
Estimated Salary:** $28.00 - $34.00 per hour ($56,800 - $70,400 per year)
