Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in ensuring cleaner and healthier spaces for our clients, their students, and surrounding areas through the execution of essential tasks and responsibilities. Key duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Executing all cleaning tasks for facilities utilizing designated ServiceMaster products, tools, and methodologies.
  • Performing sweeping, mopping, polishing, waste disposal, restroom sanitation, window cleaning, and dusting.
  • Managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Utilizing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
  • Securing and unlocking facilities, as well as managing the security system as needed.
Physical Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Frequent (up to 100%) standing, walking, pushing, kneeling, twisting, and reaching.
  • Capability to lift and/or carry up to 25 lbs.
  • Understanding of various cleaning products and their applications.
  • 1-2 years of experience in custodial, janitorial, or housekeeping roles is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • On-the-job training will be provided for individuals demonstrating a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
  • Flexibility and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment are essential.
  • Contributing positively to the work atmosphere with a friendly demeanor.
  • Supporting overall team efforts by being punctual, dependable, and in uniform.
  • Treating all colleagues and clients with respect and courtesy.
