About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HIL test engineer to join our team at LER TechForce LLC. As a key member of our Systems Test team, you will be responsible for verification and validation tests, documenting and analyzing results on embedded software controls and calibration.

The ideal candidate will have knowledge in Off-highway machinery, Electronics or Controls background, HIL testing, MATLAB Simulink (reading of models), and Calibration experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical documentation
  • Regression testing
  • Developing test plans, executing, documenting, etc...
  • Create, Maintain and perform regression tests.
  • Testing, configuration, and release of control software which involves new feature introduction and well as current feature support.
  • Submit PRCR's to document software issues discovered in the field.
  • Create and maintain regression tests for group's components.
  • Test systems using the appropriate diagnostic tools with real-time test bench capability.
  • Support FMET (Failure Modes Effect Testing) via Systems test team.
  • Support engine/vehicle trouble-shooting on related diagnostic fault codes.
  • Participate in DV and PV test results reviews.
  • System Test/Documentation/Support tasks.
  • Create and maintain ESW test components.
  • Embedded software testing when necessary.
  • Automated testing, using ACCEPT bench.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
