LERTechForce LLC is seeking a skilled Automotive System Calibration Expert to join our team. As an industry leader in embedded controls, software, functional safety, and engineering talent, we have been working with customers across North America for over 20 years.

About the Role

This position involves project management, featured-based calibration tuning, and supporting general engine controls platform development and maintenance. The ideal candidate will have good understanding and experience with Datalink protocols such as J1939 and CANC communication networks, as well as the ability to collect and analyze CAN Trace files.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project management and coordination
  • Featured-based calibration tuning and optimization
  • Supporting general engine controls platform development and maintenance
  • Troubleshooting diagnostic-related issues to support OBD
  • Documented results from Manual Test Procedures for datalink communication
  • Root cause analysis for On-highway features and supporting cross-functional teams as necessary
RequirementsEssential Skills:
  • Good understanding and experience with Datalink protocols such as J1939 and CANC communication networks
  • Ability to collect and analyze CAN Trace files
  • Working knowledge of CANalyzer or similar data acquisition tools (Calterm, etc.,)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Matlab, Simulink, and MS-Office
  • Awareness and knowledge of Cummins internal tools such as C2ST, Integrity, Windchill will be a plus for this role
