About the Role

Vodastra is seeking a skilled Master Electrician to join our team and contribute to our success. As a Master Electrician, you will be responsible for performing all electrical functions, troubleshooting, and repairs to maintain safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Electrical System Troubleshooting and Repair: Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including electrical control panels, transformers, motors, and motor control devices.
  • Technical Support: Provide support for electrical controls, fluid power, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
  • Safety and Compliance: Maintain a high standard of safety and food safety, ensuring compliance with food safety, quality, and legality standards in all tasks.
  • PLC System Support: Work with PLC systems and maintain data collection instrumentation.
  • Electrical System Construction: Conduct electrical system construction and project management activities, following industry standards and safety protocols.
  • HVAC System Maintenance: Troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in electronic technology or a related technical field preferred.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance and Electrical Controls.
  • Valid electrician's license as required by state or local regulations.
  • Strong knowledge in AC/DC circuits, industrial electrical systems, and electrical safety.
  • Proficient in the maintenance and repair of mechanical systems (bearings, gears, clutches, belts, seals).
  • Ability to troubleshoot and maintain hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
  • Experience with industrial semiconductors, solid-state drives, and control systems.
  • Proficiency in using SAP Plant Maintenance and Windows-based software (Outlook, Excel, Word).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
