As an electro-technical cadet, you will gain insights into the operation and maintenance of the ship's electro-technical systems, including:
  • Electrical generating plant
  • Automated control systems
  • Bridge navigational equipment
  • Entertainment systems

Prerequisites:
Before applying, please ensure you meet the following criteria:
  • Four GCSEs or Scottish Certificate of Education equivalence at grades 9-5 (A* to C), including Maths, Science (with significant physical science content), and English.
  • Candidates must be UK or EEA citizens and have resided in the UK for at least one year prior to application, with the right to live and work in the UK without restrictions.
  • An equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering (e.g., BTEC National Diploma or GNVQ Advanced) will also be considered.
