Key Responsibilities

  • Perform point-of-care testing and administer medications as ordered

  • Document patient care and education in the electronic medical record
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Medical Assistant Certificate from a recognized organization (e.g. AAMA, NCCT)
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
  • 1 year of back-office experience required
