We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Medical Assistant II to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a Medical Assistant II, you will provide exceptional support to our healthcare providers and nurses during patient care encounters.
Key Responsibilities- Collect and document patient information, including vital signs and medical history
- Perform point-of-care testing and administer medications as ordered
- Assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments
- Ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- Document patient care and education in the electronic medical record
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and staff meetings
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Medical Assistant Certificate from a recognized organization (e.g. AAMA, NCCT)
- Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
- 1 year of back-office experience required
Customer service aptitude and experience working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
