Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner

About the Role:

At Yale-New Haven Health, we are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to children and families affected by hematological and oncological conditions.

Responsibilities:

* Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with complex hematology and oncology needs
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care and support
* Conduct thorough assessments, diagnoses, and treatments to optimize patient outcomes
* Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and prevention strategies
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction

Requirements:

* Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) or Doctoral degree in Nursing (DNP) from an accredited institution
* Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Connecticut
* Certification in Pediatric Hematology Oncology Nursing preferred
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric hematology oncology nursing

Salary and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
