Boston Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Patient Experience Representative II to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a positive experience for our patients and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Encounter Management: Provide positive and effective customer service, collaborate with referring providers and practices, and schedule patients and support the patient encounter.
- Check In / Check Out: Greet and direct patients, families, and visitors, monitor the daily schedule, and coordinate flow with clinicians and supervisors.
- Administrative: Provide routine clerical support as needed.
- A high school level of education is required, with a Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Required experience: Internal candidates must have a minimum of 6 months as a Patient Experience Representative; external candidates must have a minimum of 6 months of relevant healthcare experience.
- The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations.
- The ability to work with diverse internal and external constituencies.
