Key Responsibilities:- Assist in staging wholesale parts orders and pulling pre-orders for service customers.
- Handle all duties related to merchandise receipt and shipment, including shipping and receiving departmental and/or dealership inventory.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy and control inventory-related records.
- Assist with warranty parts maintenance as directed.
- Notify the appropriate department when special orders or back-ordered items are received.
- Assist with periodic inventory cycle counts as directed by the supervisor.
- Assist with organization and cleanliness of the inventory area.
- Receive and stock incoming inventory, verifying receipts against purchase orders.
- Complete all training as directed by the supervisor.
- Follow policies and procedures as set forth in the Employee Handbook.
The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud. The role frequently requires working on a computer in a typical office environment and may involve bending, stooping, crouch, reaching, and lifting 40 pounds of material. The employee may be exposed to battery acid, gasoline, chemical cleaning materials, or other toxic materials commonly found in a motor vehicle dealership. Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to exhaust fumes or other airborne particles.
