Desktop Support Specialist

At A3 Staffing Solutions, we are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team. As a Desktop Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance for computer systems, hardware, and software in an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and maintain Windows OS/Microsoft Office Suite in an enterprise environment with direct interactions with the end user.
- Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and computer peripherals.
- Provide desktop and network support, including setup, configuration, and addition of all hardware.
- Assist Corporate Desk Side Support technicians with large IMACs.
- Document, maintain, upgrade, or replace hardware and software systems.
- Support and maintain user account information, including rights, security, and systems groups.
- Train employees, identify, analyze, and repair product failures, order and replace parts as needed.
- Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs.
- Imaging and image recovery.
- Experience in break/fix repairs on desktops, laptops, install/re-install various software packages and updates.
- WiFi and VPN connections; support of wireless devices.
- Provide GREAT customer service skills.
Requirements:
- Candidate must live in or near Portland, OR.
- Shift is 10a-7p.
- Must have experience working in large IT environments (manufacturing preferred).
