Position Summary

The Patient Enrollment Coordinator plays a crucial role in the Patient Enrollment Department, providing a pathway for career advancement in the field of clinical research. We are looking for a motivated individual with a proactive approach and a desire to grow within the patient recruitment sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for initiating contact with potential study participants through various lead sources, including marketing campaigns and community outreach.
  • Engage in community outreach by attending events and building partnerships with local organizations.
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews via phone to assess eligibility for clinical trials.
  • Provide comprehensive information about study protocols and address participant inquiries regarding eligibility and logistics.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service during all interactions with potential participants.
  • Assess eligibility for other studies if a participant does not qualify for their initial interest.
  • Schedule screening visits for qualified participants while adhering to established guidelines.
  • Document participant information and interactions in the Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) in compliance with enrollment procedures.
  • Track and report data on call outcomes and other relevant metrics.
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss patient enrollment strategies and updates.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in customer service or call center environments is required.
  • Experience in clinical research or familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.
  • Bilingual candidates, particularly those fluent in English and Spanish, are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Ability to learn and convey complex information in an accessible manner.
  • Proficiency in using new software and technology is necessary.
