Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified part-time affiliate faculty member to teach in the Department of Computer Information Systems and Business Analytics at Metropolitan State University of Denver. The successful candidate will have a strong background in computer information systems and the ability to teach a variety of courses in this field.

Responsibilities
  • Teach 3-9 credit hours of computer information systems courses
  • Develop and deliver course materials and lesson plans
  • Grade student work and provide timely feedback
  • Be available for consultation with students
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field
  • Meet the College of Business faculty qualification policy criteria to be classified as either SP or IP
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctorate or dissertation complete in a Computer Information Systems related field
  • Work experience in teaching or industry
Terms of Employment

Affiliate faculty are part-time, at-will employees hired to teach on a per credit hour basis for specific classes, usually on a semester-by-semester basis. Affiliate faculty are not eligible for benefit coverage under the University's benefit program.
