Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to patient inquiries and resolve issues related to their accounts in a prompt and courteous manner.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure that their needs are met and their concerns are addressed.
  • Work closely with our billing and collections team to resolve issues related to patient accounts and ensure that our patients receive the best possible service.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on our financial assistance programs and other resources available to them.
  • Collaborate with our quality improvement team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to our processes and procedures to ensure that our patients receive the best possible service.
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in a customer service or patient account specialist role.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of healthcare billing and collections processes and procedures.
