Research Associate Position in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

**Job Summary**
The UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Research Associate to join their esteemed Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine division. As a key member of the research team, you will be responsible for conducting complex laboratory tasks and experiments, ensuring the highest level of accuracy and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, construct, repair, or modify electronic and/or mechanical equipment or apparatus used in experiments and research projects.
- Perform computer programming for accumulation and analysis of research data.
- Instruct medical students, graduate students, residents, or other laboratory personnel of lower grade with respect to techniques, procedures, and equipment utilized in research or experiments.
- Assist principal investigator and other professional personnel in writing of reports and papers for publication.
- Provide working supervision to employees of lower grade engaged in performance of variety of difficult and complex laboratory work tasks.
Requirements:
- Masters degree with major coursework in field of assignment and three years of laboratory experience including at least two years at level of Research Assistant II or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree with major coursework in field of assignment and four years of laboratory experience including two years at level of Research Assistant II or equivalent.
Salary:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. Benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. The estimated salary range is based on the cost of living in the Dallas, Texas area.
