Neonatal Nurse Practitioner II

At Parkland Health and Hospital System (PHHS), we are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and advancing the field of neonatal healthcare. As a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner II, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our youngest patients and their families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive care to neonates, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of various conditions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including physical exams and diagnostic testing.
- Develop and implement education programs for patients and families to promote healthy outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Texas or compact state.
- Active certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) or equivalent.
- Minimum 3 years of experience as an APRN in neonatal care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Spanish proficiency.
- Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
