About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Physician to join our team at UT Southwestern Medical Center. As a key member of our Nuclear Medicine Division, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and interpret examinations, including General Nuclear Medicine, SPECT/CT, PET/CT, PET/MR, Nuclear Cardiology, and DEXA
  • Conduct therapy patient consultation visits
  • Administer Iodine-131, Radium-223, and 177Lu therapies, with available quantitative dosimetry in an SNMMI designated Comprehensive Radiopharmaceutical Therapy Center of Excellence
  • Provide consultation to referring physicians
  • Participate in Multidisciplinary Tumor boards and disease-oriented teams
  • Engage in scholarly pursuits with faculty in the UTSW Cyclotron and Radiochemistry Program, Medical Physics, and Radiology Research
Research Opportunities
  • Conduct research in a culture of collaboration with UTSW's strong basic science and clinical teams
  • Participate in investigator-initiated clinical trials for multiple investigational PET radiopharmaceuticals
  • Engage in research clinical trials, including immunoPET imaging, imaging of neurodegenerative diseases, several GU oncology trials, and cardiac molecular imaging studies
