Job Title: Histology Technician

Cross Country Allied is seeking a skilled Histology Technician to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee.

Job Summary:

As a Histology Technician, you will be responsible for preparing tissue specimens for microscopic examinations and handling specialized histo and immunocyto-chemistry testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Completes daily workload as assigned, including embedding, cutting, and staining tissue specimens.
  • Performs and documents routine maintenance, maintains departmental records, and ensures department supplies are at acceptable levels.
  • Maintains adequate quality control data, processes specimens for molecular testing, troubleshoots processes, and follows up as needed.
  • Handles high-volume workload and stat requests.
Requirements:

Applicants must have at least 1-2 years of post-clinical work experience.
