Responsibilities- Conduct hospital rounds as directed by individually assigned Physician.
- Perform initial histories, physicals, consultations, and follow-up care visits which may require laboratory testing, radiology testing, and/or immunizations.
- Formulate diagnoses based on clinical assessments and establish appropriate/timely treatment plans.
- Nurse Practitioner: Master of Science Degree in Nursing is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Nurse Practitioner is required. Current Massachusetts R.N. registration is required.
- Physician Assistant: Bachelor's Degree in a related field is required. Graduate of an A.M.A. approved Physician Assistant program is required. Certification from a National accrediting body to practice as a Physician Assistant is required. Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant License is required. Minimum of 1 year of clinical practice required. Hospital Inpatient Adult Medicine experience preferred.
