Role Summary:

The Service Advisor will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences at our service locations. This role requires a strong technical foundation, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide top-notch customer service, addressing customer concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Work closely with the Operations, Call Center, Retail, and Marketing teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Utilize training methodologies and techniques to ensure learning effectiveness and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Translate customer-reported service-related problems into actionable work orders for technicians to complete.
  • Inspect vehicles before delivery to ensure services and repairs are performed correctly.
  • Communicate estimated completion times, regular updates, and follow through on each customer vehicle.
  • Analyze service lapses that impact customer experience and work with supervisors to improve processes.
  • Meet requirements of state and federal law for automobile repair and consumer protection.
  • Lead continuous improvement activities as needed.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in a customer-facing role or similar in the automotive industry (automotive experience preferred but not required).
  • HS Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to remain flexible and responsive to changing conditions.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic mathematics skills to prepare and transact estimates and payments.
  • Ability to read and speak fluent English.
  • Ability to see, read, and interpret documents such as governmental regulations, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, or schematics.
