Job Title: Research Analyst

Washington DC Economic Partnership (WDCEP) is seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst to join our team. As a Research Analyst, you will play a vital role in facilitating economic development in the District of Columbia.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct in-depth research and analysis to support business attraction, expansion, and retention efforts.
  • Oversee data collection and production of reports, including The DC Development Report and DC Neighborhood Profiles.
  • Research and analyze key industry sectors to inform business development strategies.
  • Develop and maintain economic development maps and databases.
  • Track economic indicators, such as business openings and closings, and provide insights for business expansion opportunities.
  • Collect and analyze neighborhood-level demographic and business-related data.
  • Support economic development neighborhood tours and participate in conferences.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience and/or undergraduate degree in economics, business, urban and regional planning, or data analysis.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in-person at WDCEP's office and travel within the DC metro area.
  • Residency in the District of Columbia or willingness to relocate.
What We Offer:
  • Competitive salary: $60,000 - $65,000 (depending on qualifications) + benefits.
