Job Overview

The Electronics Test Specialist role involves the disassembly, assembly, rework, and basic testing of various electrical and electronic devices.

  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn testing and troubleshooting techniques for diverse products as needed.
  • Complete required training to uphold necessary knowledge and skills for effective job performance.
  • Follow both written and verbal directives.
  • Be prepared for overtime based on production schedules and requirements.
  • Comply with all organizational guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Self-assess work progress against fast-paced benchmarks to ensure timely delivery of all tasks.
  • Contribute to area efficiency and 6S improvement initiatives.
  • Assist other departments with tasks and responsibilities as required within the scope of expertise.
  • Perform maintenance and modification tasks in accordance with the latest technical data provided in the manufacturers' instructions for continued airworthiness, service bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, and other approved data.
Work Execution
  • Complete tasks according to specifications and procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Accurately document the work performed in the appropriate maintenance records.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Consistent and punctual attendance is essential; may require working nights and weekends, along with variable schedules and extra hours as necessary.
Physical Requirements
  • Approximately 80% of the time spent sitting and 20% standing or walking within indoor company facilities.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 45 lbs.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively.
  • Maintain head and neck in static positions, looking up, down, and side-to-side.
  • Perform significant hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands.
  • Engage in light lifting from various heights, including floor, table, and shelf.
  • Push and pull carts or mobile tables, both loaded and unloaded.
  • Minimal heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, and lifting arms above shoulders, as well as kneeling.
Environmental Considerations
  • Minimal exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, and uneven walking surfaces.
Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
