Key Responsibilities- Claims Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of complex property claims, including specialty claims, to determine liability and damages.
- Claims Resolution: Negotiate and settle claims with insureds, vendors, and external parties, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders, including vendors and business partners, to facilitate complex claims and ensure seamless communication.
- Knowledge Sharing: Serve as a resource for less experienced staff, providing guidance and coaching on complex claims procedures and best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with business activities, ensuring compliance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 2 years' relevant property claims adjusting experience of moderate complexity, including writing estimates involving dwelling and structural damages
- Skills: Proficient knowledge of Xactimate or similar estimating platform, advanced knowledge of estimating losses of moderate complexity, and proficient knowledge of property claims contracts and interpretation of case law
- Personal Qualities: Demonstrated negotiation, investigation, communication, and conflict resolution skills, with a strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
