Responsibilities of a Tire Sales Associate:

  • Sell tires at retail prices, including road hazard coverage, valves, balancing, and disposal services.
  • Inform customers of any issues identified during vehicle inspections and offer solutions.
  • Follow up on all services provided to customers, beyond just tire sales.
  • Maintain knowledge of available products and shop capabilities.
  • Adhere to all established policies and documentation procedures (invoicing, credit, etc.).
  • Learn about products offered by both the company and competitors.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications for Tire Sales Associate:

  • Proven sales and/or management experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in the tire and automotive service industry; agricultural experience is advantageous
  • Familiarity with agricultural/farm tires is a plus
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver's license is required
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Capability to perform physical tasks that may involve lifting and carrying items weighing at least 50 lbs., as well as activities such as pulling, pushing, bending, standing, lifting, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
