Furthermore, the Fleet Operations Coordinator will design and implement preventive maintenance strategies while fostering relationships with external service providers and dealerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee vehicle maintenance operations, providing clear instructions, constructive feedback, and effective solutions in a professional manner.
  • Maintain comprehensive driver logs, records, and qualifications pertinent to non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT).
  • Keep detailed fleet logs and records, conducting daily inspections and overall maintenance checks.
  • Manage the workflow associated with scheduling and executing fleet maintenance tasks.
  • Handle accident reporting and documentation efficiently.
  • Establish and nurture professional relationships with automotive dealership departments.
  • Facilitate the pick-up and delivery of fleet vehicles for both scheduled and urgent maintenance needs.
  • Assist in addressing driver-related issues concerning their assigned vehicles.
  • Support the daily scheduling of routes for drivers to optimize efficiency.
  • Ensure that the team delivers exceptional customer service to all clients.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience managing a small fleet, preferably in NEMT.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Calendar.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • In-depth knowledge of local geography and road networks.
  • Exhibit responsibility, courtesy, patience, and professionalism at all times.
  • Understanding of logistics and fleet management principles.
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Experience with route scheduling software, such as Transit Exec, is a plus.
  • No mechanical expertise is required.
