As a Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of Class 7-8 trailers, ensuring they are in good working condition. You will operate vehicles and test all working parts to ensure proper operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform safety inspections of equipment and prepare safety documentation
  • Inspect and perform work on the underparts of vehicles
  • Access any area of the equipment or vehicle to perform necessary maintenance
  • Move parts to and from the job site and remove or install these parts on the vehicle
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years' experience performing vehicle and trailer maintenance
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle to determine if it is operating properly
  • Ability to enter and exit the driver's compartment of the truck and/or behind cab using normally available footholds and handholds
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic written and verbal communication skills
