Position Overview:

Mills Auto Group is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to manage our financial operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring financial integrity, enforcing compliance protocols, and overseeing essential financial controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee bank transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Conduct daily reconciliations of bank accounts to ensure financial precision
  • Prepare journal entries and maintain schedules for fixed assets
  • Work collaboratively with office personnel to ensure timely task completion
  • Generate financial reports for management and departmental leaders
  • Prepare tax documentation and end-of-month financial summaries
  • Review accounting schedules and perform account reconciliations
  • Offer insights for enhancing operational efficiency
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and account reconciliations
  • Coordinate monthly inventory assessments and manage title processing
  • Oversee vehicle inventory and manage sales accounting
  • Review pending repair orders and parts tickets for resolution
  • Conduct monthly physical inventory checks of vehicles
  • Distribute accounts receivable statements and reconcile work in progress

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Financial Controller or 4 years as an office manager in automotive dealerships
  • Familiarity with CDK DMS system is preferred
