Kenny Kent Chevrolet - Automotive Lube Specialist

We are in search of an Automotive Lube Specialist to enhance our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing routine oil changes, tire rotations, comprehensive vehicle inspections, and lubrication services as directed.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with Saturday hours from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct oil changes, filter replacements, and lubrication tasks efficiently and accurately in line with dealership and manufacturer standards.
  • Inspect vehicles and report any necessary maintenance or replacements, including air filters.
  • Check and replenish fluid levels as needed.
  • Perform Multi-Point Vehicle Inspections.
  • Complete follow-up stickers and place them on windshields.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized work environment.
  • Document all services performed.
  • Conduct quality checks on completed work.
  • Participate in training sessions.
  • Stay updated on factory technical bulletins.
  • Ensure vehicles are kept clean during service.
  • Adhere to federal, state, and local regulations regarding waste disposal.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues and management, demonstrating teamwork.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must be able to fulfill each essential duty satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • Basic mechanical and maintenance knowledge of vehicles.
  • Ability to perform maintenance and safety inspections on vehicles and document findings.
  • Capability to prepare estimates for maintenance, safety, and minor repair needs.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills with a desire for improvement.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies, repair methods, and specifications.
  • Experience operating electronic diagnostic tools.
  • High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Preferred: Technical degree or formal training.
  • Preferred: One year of experience in a service department.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
