YOUR ROLE IN SECURITY:

  • Train and mentor new security personnel.
  • Fulfill emergency response duties as required.
  • Accurately complete and maintain necessary documentation.
  • Utilize vigilance and established protocols to safeguard guests, property, and staff from potential threats.
  • Conduct regular patrols of the premises and monitor assigned posts to ensure guest safety and comfort.
  • Inspect entry points to confirm security measures are intact.
  • Perform safety inspections of equipment and facilities as per established guidelines.
  • Identify and report any irregularities, including fire hazards and security breaches, to the appropriate authorities.
  • Prevent theft and protect company assets.
  • Welcome all guests and staff with a friendly and professional demeanor.
  • Manage vehicle and pedestrian traffic at facility entrances to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure compliance with responsible alcohol service practices.
  • Represent the company professionally at meetings and events.
  • Exhibit strong communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to guest service and ethical conduct.
  • Adhere to all corporate and local policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED; one to two years of relevant experience demonstrating sound judgment and reliability, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Casino experience is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand basic instructions and correspondence.
  • Capability to write simple correspondence.
  • Effective communication skills with guests and colleagues.
  • Must qualify for a license with the Pennsylvania State Racing Commission and meet credentialing requirements of the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
  • Ability to work in a smoking environment in guest areas and a non-smoking environment for employees, except in designated areas.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to work in a high noise level environment.
