EXPERIENCED WELDER AND FABRICATOR

Precise Tool is a leading contract manufacturer specializing in sheet metal and precision CNC machined components.

We are seeking a highly skilled Welder/Fabricator to construct Ferrous and Non-Ferrous parts for our esteemed clientele. In this role, you will be tasked with interpreting engineering drawings, fabricating components or structures, and conducting quality inspections on finished products for the Defense sector.

To excel as a Welder/Fabricator at Precise Tool, a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is essential.

Applicants should demonstrate advanced knowledge of welding and metalworking, possess keen attention to detail, and exhibit strong mathematical capabilities.

Proficiency in TIG welding with Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Steel is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in welding and fabrication.
  • AWS certification and advanced welding skills.
  • Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics.
  • Proficient in using standard metal fabrication tools.
  • Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to lift and maneuver large metal components.
  • Ability to maintain focus during extended periods of work.
  • Conduct thorough in-process inspections using measuring instruments like Calipers and Height Gauges.
  • Plan and organize work effectively to optimize time, materials, and equipment usage.
  • Work independently with minimal oversight while contributing positively as a team member.

  • Operate as a member of a quality-focused team dedicated to meeting customer product standards.
  • Take responsibility for fulfilling commitments related to project outcomes.
  • Maintain high performance levels and motivation, even with routine tasks.
  • Understand and execute both oral and written instructions.
  • Work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, and demonstrate flexibility.
  • Possess thorough operational knowledge of specific equipment.
  • Operate assigned machinery safely and effectively.
  • Keep accurate records of time and materials utilized.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Perform basic arithmetic operations in various measurement units.
  • Proficient in TIG/MIG welding of steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.

According to applicable pay transparency laws, the compensation range for this position is $37.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other permissible factors.
