METAL FINISHING SPECIALIST

Precise Tool is a leading provider of custom metal fabrication and precision machining services. We are currently seeking a skilled Metal Finishing Specialist to join our dedicated team. The position requires a High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work under the guidance of the Department Group Leader to interpret blueprints and work orders, ensuring a clear understanding of product specifications including dimensions, tolerances, and tooling instructions.
  • Set up and operate machinery designed for grinding, smoothing, and buffing metal components to achieve the desired finish.
  • Utilize hand and power tools to eliminate burrs and sharp edges effectively.
  • Conduct visual inspections, manage inventory, and prepare parts for packaging.
  • Employ precision measuring instruments to verify part specifications.
  • Document job data accurately throughout the finishing processes.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently while contributing to a quality-focused team dedicated to meeting customer expectations.
  • Strong accountability for achieving project outcomes and commitments.
  • Ability to maintain performance levels and motivation in routine and repetitive tasks.
  • Proficient in following oral and written instructions.

Compensation for this role is set at $25.00 per hour, with actual pay determined by experience and applicable factors.
