Position Title: CNC Milling Machine Operator - 2nd Shift

Overview:
The CNC Milling Machine Operator is tasked with the operation and upkeep of milling machinery to accurately shape and cut metal materials.

Schedule: 3 PM - 11 PM, with initial training from 7 AM - 3 PM for a minimum of 90 days.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Set up and operate milling machines according to project specifications.
2. Interpret blueprints and design schematics to grasp project requirements.
3. Select and install necessary tools and equipment for the milling process.
4. Adjust machine settings to manage speed, material feed, and cutting paths.
5. Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and prevent malfunctions.
6. Inspect and measure finished products to verify they meet specifications.
7. Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to ensure safety and longevity.
8. Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the milling process.
9. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.

Team Dynamics:
This position is part of the Large Parts and Components Team and reports to the Group Lead of the department.

Basic Qualifications:
A high school diploma with over one year of experience, or a certificate from a machining program, or a combination of training and experience. Candidates must be at least 18 years old.

Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated mechanical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical instructions. Strong problem-solving skills are essential for troubleshooting during the milling process. Experience with blueprints and precision measuring tools is preferred.
