Maine Nursing Assistant Opportunities

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at Independence Advocates of Maine. As a CNA, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.

Salary and BenefitsThe salary for this position is $43,000 - $53,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including:
- 100% employer-paid health, dental, disability, and life insurance
- Over 4 weeks off per year to start
- Generous shift differentials and stipends
- Annual wage increases
- 403B Retirement with a 3% match after one year
- Tuition reimbursement
- Next-day pay option
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your primary responsibility will be to provide direct care and support to our residents. This includes:
- Assisting with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Providing emotional support and companionship to our residents
- Assisting with medical procedures and administering medications
You will work closely with our nursing staff and other caregivers to ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.
RequirementsTo be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a registered CNA on the State of Maine CNA registry
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Pass background checks and have a valid driver's license
