Compassionate Nursing Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Independence Advocates of Maine. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in providing direct support and care to individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.
About the RoleThis is a full-time position, working 36 hours a week with every other weekend rotation. You will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities, providing personal care, and promoting their independence and well-being.
Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Provide personal care, including toileting, feeding, and transferring
- Encourage residents to participate in recreational activities and promote their independence
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
- You must be a registered CNA on the State of Maine CNA registry
- You must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- You must pass background checks and have a valid driver's license
- You must be committed to assisting individuals with disabilities and promoting their independence and well-being
