We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor to join our team at the University of Minnesota School of Nursing. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for teaching, research, and service to the community and profession.
Key Responsibilities- Teach across all educational programs as appropriate, including undergraduate and graduate courses.
- Conduct research and scholarly activities in your area of expertise, with a focus on generating and disseminating knowledge to improve health outcomes.
- Participate in service to the community and profession, including leadership roles in the School of Nursing and the University.
- Develop and maintain clinical practice in your area of expertise, with opportunities for formal leadership in the clinical setting or advanced practice specialty curriculum.
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- An earned doctorate (DNP, PhD, or international equivalent) or comparable qualification.
- Experience in teaching and advising, with a demonstrated record of excellence in your specialty area.
- Evidence of a defined area of scholarship and experience in teaching.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
