Job Overview
The Sales Associate in Retail plays a crucial role in managing inventory and ensuring the retail space is well-organized and inviting for customers.

Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers, proactively addressing their needs.
- Maintain optimal stock levels and arrange products to enhance visual appeal.
- Operate the cash register, manage cash transactions, and process credit card payments.
- Handle cash responsibly, including safe verifications and preparing bank deposits.
- Uphold a friendly and efficient demeanor, adapting to the needs of customers, clients, and colleagues.
- Follow cash handling protocols diligently.
- Safeguard company assets effectively.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service is advantageous.
- Familiarity with cash handling is preferred.
- Basic math skills and counting abilities are essential.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Requirements
This position may involve physical activities such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended periods of walking and standing. Uniforms and/or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) may be necessary.
