Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new retail store in Sioux City, offering a unique chance to contribute to the growth and success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage customers in a courteous, helpful, and respectful manner, promptly and politely respond to customer inquiries and requests for support
  • Process customer transactions through the register and customer service desk, ensuring accurate handling of payments and providing excellent customer service
  • Collect and process payments from customers, enter transactions into the register system, and apply coupons as necessary
  • Package customer purchases for removal from the store, including wrapping and bagging items
  • Ensure all items intended for purchase are identified and properly scanned, maintaining a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Execute activities related to store initiatives to offer customers additional products and services, such as special sale items and credit card applications
  • Return misplaced product, customer returns, and other product gathered in the front-end to the correct location in the store
  • Perform additional duties as required, including but not limited to, stocking, freight processing, price changes, and cart retrieval

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent desired
  • 0-1 years of retail experience desired
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to adjust schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs
