Position Overview:

As a Medication Technician at Sagora, your responsibilities will include:

  • Administering and accurately documenting medication as prescribed by residents' physicians, following company policies and applicable regulations under the supervision of a nurse
  • Obtaining, recording, and reporting vital signs of residents
  • Addressing the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
  • Assisting residents with daily living activities, including dressing, personal hygiene, and mobility
  • Supporting daily tasks such as housekeeping, telephone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery
  • Observing and reporting any changes in residents' conditions and statuses
  • Assisting in dining activities, including escorting residents to the dining area, serving meals, and cleaning up

Qualifications:
  • Preferred six months of experience in medication administration within a retirement community setting
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English with residents, families, guests, and other associates
