Role Purpose:

The primary objective of our Paramedics is to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a professional and empathetic manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver emergency pre-hospital care and facilitate inter-facility patient transport.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines.
  • Engage with patients and their families with clarity and compassion.
  • Safely operate and maintain all relevant medical equipment.
  • Utilize navigation tools effectively to optimize response times.
  • Collaborate efficiently with fellow team members.
  • Communicate professionally with other healthcare providers.
  • Document patient care accurately and efficiently.
  • Lead and manage the scene of incidents responsibly.

Work Environment:

  • Occasional exposure to confined spaces, extreme temperatures, and hazardous conditions.
  • Frequent interaction with others, both face-to-face and through verbal communication.
  • Regular shift work with extended hours as needed.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry at least 125 lbs, along with various physical activities such as driving and multitasking.
  • Frequent activities include hearing, clear speech, and walking.
  • Occasional need for olfactory senses.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited Paramedic program with the ability to obtain state certification.
  • Valid Texas Driver's License.
  • Current ACLS and CPR certifications.
  • Additional certifications in pediatric and trauma care.
  • Ability to lift and move patients safely.
  • Compliance with all medical director requirements.
  • No exclusions from federally funded healthcare programs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Paramedic in emergency services.
