Duties:
  • Execute responsibilities related to the labeling, inspection, and packaging of pharmaceutical products, ensuring operational efficiency of packaging machinery to meet production targets.
  • Operate various packaging equipment including labelers, pick and place systems, heat tunnels, and vision systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Perform equipment setup and changeovers as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot initial issues with packaging machinery, including labelers and heat tunnels.
  • Adhere to cGMP documentation requirements, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Understand and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Prepare Quality Assurance line clearances as needed.
  • Maintain a safe, organized, and clean working environment.
  • Ensure that facilities and equipment are maintained according to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Participate in cross-training within the department to support business needs.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Shift Line Leader or Supervisor.

Communication:
  • Effectively communicate processing requirements to team members.
  • Provide regular updates on progress to the shift line leader and/or Supervisor.
  • Report any process-related events to the shift line leader and/or Supervisor as part of the escalation process.
  • Address facility and inventory needs on a daily basis.

Assessment:
  • Monitor processes against manufacturing records and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Engage in Daily Performance Reviews as part of the team.

Systems:
  • Complete batch tickets detailing materials used during production.
  • Offer feedback on proposed improvements to processes.
  • Follow established process sequences diligently.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards by working safely and responsibly.

Skills:
  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong communication skills and a focus on quality.
  • Proficient in troubleshooting equipment and processes.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Basic math and computer skills.

Preferred: 5+ years of relevant experience.

Education:
  • High School diploma required; Associate's degree preferred or equivalent experience.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:
  • 8-hour shifts
  • Overnight shifts
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:
  • 3 years in manufacturing (Required)
