About the Role

Lennar Homes is seeking a skilled Land Acquisition Manager to join our team. As a key member of our land acquisition team, you will be responsible for identifying and acquiring new land opportunities to support our business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement business strategies to identify and acquire new land opportunities
  • Lead land acquisition negotiations and administer purchase documentation, financial analysis, and due diligence processes
  • Prepare and update annual objectives, budgets, and schedules for assigned programs
  • Implement and maintain a land acquisition deal log and tracking system
  • Prepare periodic reports on deal status versus business plan assumptions
  • Develop and maintain a historical land acquisition database
  • Perform liaison role with the land brokerage community and ensure adherence to contractual obligations
  • Formulate division land acquisition processes and procedures to ensure effective land prospecting and coordination of acquisition efforts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, real estate, or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience in land acquisition, marketing, and/or administrative positions with residential or land development firms
  • Excellent human relations skills and ability to negotiate/influence others
  • Ability to communicate effectively and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Initiative and ability to achieve objectives with minimal supervision
  • Detail-oriented and problem-solving skills
  • Computer literacy, especially regarding word processing, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling, and data management software
