Position Overview:
As an Assistant Manager in Sales and Marketing, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our innovative electronic products across North America and select international markets. This position requires fluency in Japanese and involves collaboration with various teams to enhance our market presence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and oversee the sales budget, forecasts, and performance metrics.
- Engage in negotiations with clients and distributors to establish favorable commercial terms.
- Maintain and nurture key client relationships while identifying opportunities for new projects.
- Conduct market research and participate in trade shows to promote our product offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
- Travel to meet clients in North America and occasionally internationally to strengthen business relationships.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong ability to build relationships.
- Flexible availability to accommodate meetings across different time zones.
- Proficient in research and analytical problem-solving.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Must be fluent in Japanese.
Travel Requirements:
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30-50% of the time.
Work Environment:
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with a typical schedule from 9:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M., including a one-hour lunch break.
Compensation and Benefits:
