Job Overview
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all facets of a facilities, materials, environmental, or geotechnical engineering initiative to guarantee its successful completion within the designated timeline, scope, and budget. Accountable for fulfilling the project as per its agreed-upon scope; track progress and performance against the project timeline. Identify and address operational challenges to minimize delays. May involve resource management, project scheduling, financial planning, and collaboration with external vendors, subcontractors, or contractors. Conduct meetings and generate reports to relay the project's status to the project team and stakeholders. Establish priorities, delegate tasks, and coordinate project personnel to achieve project objectives and milestones. May also entail client communication and ensuring deliverables meet client satisfaction. Collaborate with APR to ensure engagement throughout the project, especially at critical phases. Participate in invoice approvals, change order preparations, and collections.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of a small to medium-sized project. Collaborate with clients or NAM to define project scope, timeline, and budget. Design, communicate, and execute a project plan for successful project completion. Lead safety initiatives, including preparation and adherence to an approved safety plan. Take proactive measures to resolve operational issues and reduce delays. Identify, develop, and assemble the necessary resources to complete the project. This may involve preparing calculations, designs, reports, and work specifications; developing project timelines, budgets, and forecasts; and selecting materials, equipment, project personnel, and external contractors. Partner with other departments or offices to secure specialized resources for the project. Conduct meetings and prepare reports to communicate the project's status. Establish priorities, delegate tasks, and coordinate project personnel to achieve project objectives and milestones. Work with APR to ensure appropriate oversight and sufficient time for reviews of all critical phases. Collaborate with accounting for financial management, invoicing, and collections. Develop an understanding of project-related risks. Be aware of potential issues and how to safeguard the Company. Familiarize yourself with company risk policies. Lead safety initiatives for the team and ensure adherence to safety protocols. Responsible for fostering a safe work environment; exemplifies safety practices. Encourage pre-task planning for all projects. Promote ongoing quality monitoring and enhancement on projects. Ensure compliance with quality standards and practices. Engage APRs at the onset of projects. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline practiced by the Firm, including Engineering, Environmental Science, or Geology, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Valid driver's license with an acceptable violation history. Preferred Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP) Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG), or similar professional registration/certification relevant to the services and projects being managed.
