Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Friends of Youth. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our buildings, facilities, and grounds, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and perform routine maintenance and repairs to buildings, facilities, and equipment.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and develop plans to address them.
  • Oversee the work of third-party vendors and subcontractors.
  • Monitor and report on fire, security, and health and safety issues.
  • Keep work areas clean and comply with regulatory standards.
  • Prepare and oversee preventative maintenance scheduling.
  • Respond to work requests in a timely manner and document all work completed.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of related experience and/or training required.
  • Experience and knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
