Groundsperson - Landscape Maintenance Specialist

About the Role:
BrightView Landscape Services is seeking a skilled Groundsperson to join our team. As a Groundsperson, you will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and health of our clients' landscapes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a variety of equipment, including mowers, blowers, clippers, and edgers, to create and prepare soil for plant placement.
- Set up and clean up equipment, and maintain our trucks and machinery.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve our goals.
- Ensure safety protocols are in place, including positioning cones and signs, and roping or taping off crew work areas.
- Assist climbers by handing tools and receiving tools using a rope to hoist them up into the tree.
- Gather branches into piles, transport them to the chipper, feed them into the chipper, and unload tree trunks and chips at the appropriate facility.
- Verify that all operations, job sites, and employees are safe, and that the general public is safe from potential hazards.
- Communicate effectively with other crew members and the public.
Requirements:
- You must be at least 18 years old, enthusiastic, and dependable, and able to safely work with equipment like power saws and cutters.
- Previous experience is helpful, but you must have an understanding of landscape basics.
- A CDL Driver's License would be a plus.
- Bilingual (Spanish) would be a plus.
